The Siberian Husky
I read The Siberian Husky
I thought it was an okay book!
It was about the All American Sweepstakes and the people who
Started it. There is a series of other
Dog books. It is an informational
Book. It also was about what they eat
And other facts! I would recommend this
Book to people who like the Iditarod and
Have huskies because it shows you how
You can sled with your dogs!

Side-saddle riding for beginners
Published in Unknown Binding by Yesteryear Pub. Co. ()
Author: Charlotte Brailey Kneeland
Average review score:

Great book!
Charlotte Brailey Kneeland is a past president of the International Side-Saddle Organization, and Jan Floyd, the illustrator, is equally well known in the field. Kneeland's text is very clear and informative and covers, exactly as the title promises, almost all aspects of English sidesaddle riding for beginners. Floyd's illustrations are much clearer than photographs could be because she can show - in very close detail - fine but important points a camera would blend together or simply miss. For more experienced riders, this is a good refresher book, and should be recommended reading for all those just starting to ride aside. My one wish is that this book covered mounting!

#2 of Identity Swap - not bad!
Officer Dylan Blackburn wondered if Jennifer Reid remembered the innocent kiss they'd shared as children. There was so much that he remembered.

Jennifer Reid - was that really her name? - had secrets and a killer on her trail. She was hiding something and it was dangerous - could she trust Dylan with the truth?

Dylan Blackburn found it disturbing that she didn't seem to remember him at all.
Jarrett Blackburn is Dylan's older brother [he needs a story] and raises christmas trees.
Miss Bessie Shuford takes in Jennifer and employees her.
Larry Crutchfield is an Atlanta lawyer who seems to be involved in nefarious activities - what did he know about Jennifer?

Jennifer and Dylan found themselves ducking and dodging danger.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED - an excellent read you will enjoy --It follows MONTANA MAIL-ORDER WIFE [Harlequin American Romance]

To God Be the Glory
Published in Paperback by Xulon Press (November, 2002)
Author: Charlotte A. Hawkins
Average review score:

A Spiritual Blessing
Charlotte Hawkins' book, "To God Be The Glory, Honor, & Praise," is a comforting collection of spiritual insights and encourgements. Mrs. Hawkins uses her own poetry, some written in a familiar King James-like manner, and related bible scriptures to sooth the reader with bible-based truths. The tone of the writings is calm and melodic. This book is great for bible study and meditation. I purchased copies for my mother and mother-in-law to enjoy as well. Thank you Mrs. Hawkins for sharing through poetry and scriptures.

Vampire Lover
Published in Hardcover by Harlequin Mills & Boon Ltd (08 April, 1994)
Author: Charlotte Lamb
Average review score:

unusual, for a formula romance
A fascinating book that teases us with vampiric possibilities but is actually about an emotional or 'psychic' vampire. The only boom I know of to use this idea. In many ways a traditional Harlequin romance, but them throws in a rather unexpected bondage scene!

A Wicked Slice
Published in Hardcover by St. Martin's Press (July, 1989)
Authors: Charlotte Elkins and Aaron Elkins
Average review score:

A WICKED SLICE has a nifty twist!
Lee Ofsted is just beginning to make a name for herself in the competitive world of professional women's golf, and this tournament may well be the one that will be her springboard to stardom--or so she hopes. But the sudden, bloody death of the top-ranking player coupled with the equally sudden appearance of a screamer of a slice in Lee's usually impeccable swing kills all her hopes. Who wanted to kill the star? And what is causing Lee's incredible run of bad luck? A WICKED SLICE takes the thread of these questions through a maze of fascinating minor characters as Lee tracks the mystery to its surprising ending.

I am not a golfer, but I found the sport, with its professional players as well as the well-heeled amateurs to be a vivid, fascinating background to the story. Lee Ofsted's character is engaging, intriguing and believable. Charlotte and Aaron Elkins have created a cast of interesting characters and a plot with some truly nifty turns. I recommend the book very highly.
